A New Project I’m Very Excited About

A few months ago I started to work on a new project and have been extremely busy with it (this is one of the reasons I haven’t posted anything here and on the other platforms). The project is about creating an online appointment booking service for small businesses. I reviewed a lot of similar services and came to the conclusion that they are pretty difficult to use and I didn’t find the features that I think are essential in such a service. So I decided to design and develop one. The story is very similar when I started to develop Bookmark Ninja.

The service is planned to go public Beta Q1 next year. I also get help from my wife, she’s on the project with me 3 out of 5 working days a week. Her main role is designing the UI of the web app but she also helps me out with running functional tests and doing the QA.

Of course I continue to work on Bookmark Ninja, too. It’s the regular IT maintenance tasks, doing support for the users and I also keep on implementing new features and making improvements based on the feedback I receive.

The online appointment booking service’s name will be Booking Fellow. Again it was not easy to find a name that more or less sounds good, easy to remember and the domain name is available. Finally it became bookingfellow.com (not yet available online).

I can’t wait to share this journey with you again, I’m really excited about this project. Stay tuned, more are coming soon!
